Your role

As a CyberSec Engineer, you strengthen your clients’ security posture by configuring and optimizing SIEM/XDR platforms, improving detection accuracy, and enabling efficient incident response. You work closely with infrastructure and security teams to integrate AWS environments, embed security policies, and align SIEM tooling with SOC operations. Your work drives automation, enhances visibility, and ensures secure, resilient cloud and endpoint environments.

 

Your tasks

  • Configure and optimize SIEM and XDR platforms to enhance detection and response
  • Identify, define, and document system security requirements and recommend solutions
  • Integrate AWS environments with SIEM tools and align with SOC processes
  • Tune detection rules, correlation searches, and perform trend analysis
  • Troubleshoot and manage security infrastructure, including SIEM and endpoint solutions
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve security maturity and processes
  • Research and evaluate new security technologies and recommend implementation
  • Develop automation and efficiency improvements across security operations

 

Your profile

  • You bring hands‑on experience with SIEM and SOC tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, Defender)
  • You have practical experience in securing AWS environments and implementing AWS security policies
  • You have experience in setting up SIEM solutions for AWS and integrating with SOC
  • You understand network and endpoint security, including IDS/IPS and firewalls
  • You are confident working with endpoint protection platforms (e.g., MS Defender, CrowdStrike, Tanium)
  • You demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • You are German‑speaking and willing to undergo a security clearance process
  • You collaborate effectively, contribute to automation and best practices, and drive continuous improvement
