Connectivity & Network Engineer

YOUR ROLE

You will join a team responsible for supporting and developing enterprise and data center network environments. In this role, you will design, implement, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. You will work with modern networking and security technologies, contribute to infrastructure projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers. You can also expect to participate in an on-call rotation supporting critical network operations outside standard business hours.

YOUR TASKS

  • Administer and maintain data center network infrastructure, including firewalls, load balancers, and VMware NSX environments.
  • Manage and support enterprise network solutions, including Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco ISE, and wireless networking platforms.
  • Participate in infrastructure and transformation projects.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network and connectivity issues.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external service providers.
  • Follow change management processes and security standards.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, including incident resolution and planned change implementation outside business hours.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Experience in network engineering within enterprise and data center environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Check Point security solutions, including Multi-Domain Management environments.
  • Solid understanding of networking technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and high-availability solutions.
  • Experience with Citrix NetScaler / ADC technologies.
  • Knowledge of software-defined networking solutions in enterprise and data center infrastructures.
  • Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
  • Understanding of IT service management practices and change management processes.
  • Nice to have: Linux administration skills, cloud networking experience, higher education in a technical field, and professional-level networking or security certifications.

Need to know:

  • The role includes participation in an on-call rotation supporting business-critical network infrastructure.
  • You will work with enterprise-scale networking, security, and software-defined networking technologies.
  • Hybrid working model available depending on project requirements.
