Your role
As a AWS Cloud Security Manager, you design and govern secure AWS cloud environments that enable safe and scalable adoption. You define and embed security architecture, governance frameworks, and monitoring capabilities across landing zones and workloads, ensuring strong protection and regulatory alignment. Acting as a trusted advisor, you guide engineering and delivery teams in building secure‑by‑design solutions, while ensuring effective detection, response, and compliance across multi‑account AWS environments.
Your tasks
- Design and implement security architecture for AWS landing zones and workloads
- Define and enforce security governance, policies, controls, and guardrails across environments
- Establish multi‑account strategies aligned with AWS best practices and compliance frameworks
- Set up and integrate security monitoring, logging, detection, and response capabilities
- Integrate AWS telemetry into SIEM solutions and enable SOC collaboration
- Support and improve incident response processes and detection coverage
- Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
- Advise teams on secure architecture patterns, compliance, and risk mitigation
Your profile
- You bring strong hands‑on expertise in AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config)
- You have experience with logging and detection tools (CloudTrail, CloudWatch Logs, SIEM integration)
- You have proven experience designing security architectures for multi‑account AWS environments
- You understand and apply security governance models, policies, and guardrails
- You work in a structured way, applying risk management and continuous improvement practices
- You collaborate effectively across teams and act as a trusted advisor
- You communicate clearly and support the adoption of secure‑by‑design practices
- You are familiar with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or similar standards
