Your role
We are looking for an experienced Central Printing Architect to support transition, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities in enterprise printing environments.
You will be responsible for structuring knowledge, defining documentation standards, and enabling smooth handover of central printing services across operations and support teams.
Your project
Some scenarios which you may face:
- Transition and knowledge transfer for central printing services
- Documentation and standardization of printing environments
- Governance and process definition for print services (including secure and follow-me printing)
- Collaboration across multiple teams and providers in enterprise environments
Your tasks
- Review and analyze existing documentation related to central printing services (infrastructure, processes, tools)
- Identify documentation and knowledge gaps across the printing landscape
- Create and maintain structured documentation, including SOPs, process descriptions and support manuals
- Translate technical printing concepts (e.g. print servers, queues, drivers, security printing, follow-me printing) into clear documentation
- Ensure consistency, quality and compliance with customer standards and governance
- Collaborate with technical SMEs, service management and external providers
- Maintain documentation repositories (e.g. SharePoint) with proper versioning
- Support knowledge transfer and training activities for operations and support teams
Your profile
- Experience as SME, Senior Engineer or Consultant in Central Printing / Print Services
- Strong understanding of enterprise printing environments (print servers, queues, drivers)
- Experience in technical and process documentation creation
- Familiarity with IT processes and service operations
- Experience in knowledge transfer, training or onboarding activities
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and distributed teams
- Fluent communication in German and English (written and spoken)
- Strong communication and documentation structuring skills
