Your role
Your tasks
- Administer, maintain, and optimize VTOM scheduling environments, including job chains, workflows, calendars, dependencies, and event-based scheduling.
- Monitor scheduled workloads, resolve execution failures, analyze recurring issues, and implement preventive actions.
- Manage scheduling migrations, support platform upgrades and maintenance activities, and generate operational and performance reports.
- Administer and support managed file transfer environments, including SFTP, Axway Transfer CFT, and Cerberus.
- Configure new file transfer flows, onboard applications and business partners, and manage certificates, encryption keys, and authentication mechanisms.
- Monitor file transfers, investigate failures or delays, and troubleshoot connectivity, network, security, and authentication issues.
- Analyze production incidents, perform root cause analysis, coordinate resolution activities, and contribute to problem management initiatives.
- Support projects, business process implementations, migrations, modernization initiatives, change deployments, automation activities, and technical documentation maintenance.
Your profile
- You have 3+ years of experience in workload automation, scheduling, production support, or a related area within business-critical environments.
- You have experience with VTOM (preferred) or another enterprise scheduling solution.
- You have knowledge of managed file transfer technologies, including SFTP, Axway Transfer CFT, Cerberus, and FTP/FTPS protocols.
- You have working knowledge of Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, AlmaLinux, Ubuntu), Windows Server administration, and basic Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- You understand networking fundamentals and can troubleshoot complex issues across applications, operating systems, network, and security components.
- You have experience working with incident, change, and problem management processes and can effectively manage priorities during production incidents.
- You communicate clearly, maintain high-quality documentation, and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders while working independently when needed.
- You demonstrate a customer-oriented, proactive, and continuous improvement mindset, with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and a collaborative team approach.
