Application Operations Engineer (with French)

Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Application Operations Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering customer applications, managing incidents, performing updates, and ensuring the smooth operation of production tools and infrastructure components — with a strong focus on secure and reliable file transfer processes, including Axway Transfer CFT.

Your Tasks

• · Provide second-line support for customer applications.
• · Perform changes and tasks according to both standardized and non-standard operating procedures.
• · Handle incidents and major incidents in accordance with agreed SLAs.
• · Plan and apply patches to ensure system stability and security.
• · Manage infrastructure component upgrades for production tools.
• · Support release updates and ensure seamless deployments.
• · Work on tickets, including scheduled actions and ad hoc interventions (incidents, changes, patches, problems, and requests).
• · Implement improvements and collaborate with other teams to enhance processes and efficiency.
• · Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Axway Transfer CFT and related file transfer components, ensuring continuity, security, and compliance of critical data flows.
• · Coordinate and optimize end-to-end file transfer processes across multiple environments and technologies.

Your Profile

• · Strong expertise in Linux and Windows operating systems.
• · Good understanding of cloud computing and DevOps concepts: Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD (GitLab), and Ansible.
• · Hands-on experience with scheduling tools such as Autosys, VTOM, or Control-M.
• · Proven ability to coordinate and support teams in planning and executing work activities effectively.
• · Very good command of French.
• · Experience with Axway Transfer CFT (preferred) or similar enterprise file transfer solutions, including configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• · Solid understanding of secure file transfer protocols and flows (SFTP, FTPS, CFT, MFT).

NICE TO HAVE

• · Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python…).
