YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a skilled Ansible Engineer to join our platform support team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with configuration management, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated workflows using Ansible and supporting technologies.
YOUR TASKS
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections for automated configuration management.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Manage and collaborate on code repositories using GitHub, including version control, branching strategies, and pull request workflows.
- Create and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Write and execute automated tests for Ansible roles and playbooks using Molecule.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes and ensure reliable, scalable infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing automation workflows and infrastructure.
- Document processes, configurations, and workflows to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
YOUR PROFILE
- Strong experience with Ansible, including playbooks, roles, and inventory management.
- Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure provisioning.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks for Ansible such as Molecule.
- Understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking concepts.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef) is a plus.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of security best practices in infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
