About The Job You’re Considering

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Senior Mobile Software engineer to lead the technical vision and strategy for our native Android and iOS applications. You will be responsible for designing and guiding the implementation of scalable, high-performance, and resilient solutions. This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to dive deep into technical details, drive quality initiatives, and foster an exceptional engineering culture.

Your Role

  • Define and own the technical roadmap for our native mobile applications. Design scalable, resilient, and performant architectures that can handle millions of daily users and transactions.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for mobile technologies, providing guidance on design patterns, frameworks, and best practices for both iOS and Android.
  • Proactively identify and lead the implementation of Generative AI solutions to solve critical business problems (e.g., personalized menu recommendations, AI-powered customer service chatbots) and improve engineering workflows (e.g., code generation, automated documentation, test case creation).
  • Drive the adoption of modern DevOps and SRE principles. Architect and implement solutions for continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), monitoring, logging, and performance management to ensure application reliability and uptime.
  • Test Automation & Quality: Champion a culture of quality. Lead initiatives to enhance our test automation framework, ensuring comprehensive coverage and rapid feedback loops for our engineering teams.
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, design principles, and code review processes to maintain a high level of code quality and consistency across the mobile engineering teams.
  • Work closely with product managers, business leaders, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and align on priorities.
  • Mentor senior and principal engineers, fostering a strong, positive, and collaborative engineering culture focused on continuous learning, innovation, and psychological safety.
  • Proactively identify and resolve complex technical challenges, including performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and production incidents.

Your Skills and Experience

•    10+ years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 5 years in a mobile-focused senior role.
•    Deep, hands-on experience in native mobile application development for both Android and iOS.
•    Proven track record of designing and delivering high-volume, enterprise-scale mobile applications that support millions of users.
•    Practical experience with Generative AI technologies and their application in both user-facing features and software development lifecycle (SDLC) improvements.
•    Strong understanding and practical experience with SRE concepts (SLOs, SLIs, error budgets) and DevOps practices.
•    Extensive experience with test automation strategies, including unit, integration, and UI testing.
•    Expertise in mobile architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVI) and a solid understanding of backend systems, APIs, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$82,082 - $193,440

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
