About the role you are considering

As a Sr. AI Engineer who can accelerate product delivery using AI code-generation platforms (e.g., Lovable or equivalent) and then convert prototypes into production-grade software. This role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, a security-first mindset, and the ability to integrate hardened solutions into CI/CD deployment pipelines. Lovable is an AI app builder that enables rapid creation of apps/websites via conversational prompts, which typically requires an experienced engineer to productionize outputs.

Your Role:

  • Take code generated by Lovable (lovable.dev) or similar tools and harden it for production readiness(reliability, scalability, maintainability, performance).
  • Refactor AI-produced code to align with engineering standards (architecture boundaries, clean code, modularity, maintainability).
  • Identify and remediate common AI-output issues: insecure defaults, missing validations, poor error handling,non-deterministic behavior, hidden coupling, and lack of testability.
  • Use Claude Code and/or equivalent agentic tools (e.g., Cursor, Gemini Code Assist, Antigravity IDE) to accelerate multi-file refactors, test generation, and modernization work.
  • Apply safe, repeatable agent workflows: task decomposition, bounded permissions, reviewable diffs, and automated verification.
  • In our environment, Claude Code is positioned as an AI pair programmer that operates in the command line and is integrated via an enterprise platform workflow (per internal enablement guidance).
  • Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines that enforce quality gates: build, unit/integration tests, linting, static analysis, dependency scanning, container scanning, and policy checks.
  • Add environment-specific configuration management (secrets, key vaults, config maps), progressive delivery(blue/green, canary), rollbacks, and release automation.
  • Ensure deployment artifacts are reproducible and auditable (versioning, SBOM, provenance, approvals).
  • Build comprehensive automated testing: unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end tests; improve coverage and reliability.
  • Add runtime checks: structured logging, metrics, tracing, SLO dashboards, and alerting.
  • Drive code reviews, enforce conventions, and standardize practices (coding standards & guidelines are typical expectations for strong engineering roles).
  • Own delivery for assigned modules/services end-to-end; produce design/technical specifications as needed and deliver within timeline and quality expectations.Collaborate with cross-functional partners (product, design, QA, platform, security) to ship increments and manage risk

Your Skills and Experience:

  • 5 + years professional software engineering experience (backend/full-stack) with strong fundamentals in code quality, architecture, and production operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Lovable (lovable.dev) or equivalent AI app/code generation tools, and proven ability to productionize outputs.
  • Proven experience hardening systems: security, performance, reliability, observability, and maintainability.
  • Strong CI/CD + DevSecOps skills: build pipelines, quality gates, automated testing, and secure deployment practices.
  • Experience with agentic AI coding tools such as Claude Code and/or equivalents (Cursor, Gemini Code Assist, Antigravity IDE). Claude Code is described as an AI pair programmer for faster implementation workflows.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed systems; ability to root-cause production issues.
  • Good to have experience with cloud‑native deployments (Kubernetes, containers, IaC) and production monitoring, secure SDLC practices and threat modeling, and integrating LLM features such as RAG, tool/function calling, and prompt/version management within governed enterprise environments
