Frontend Tech Lead

Your Role

As a Frontend Tech Lead with Capgemini, you will lead frontend engineering for a strategic Control Plane and WSO2 Developer Portal environment. You will define the technical direction for secure, scalable and accessible user interfaces while coordinating closely with backend, IAM, QA, architecture, and product stakeholders in an international delivery setting. 

In this role you will: 

• Own the frontend architecture, technical roadmap and engineering standards, using React as the primary technology and Angular where relevant. 

• Design reusable component architectures, state management, routing, complex forms, dashboards, filters, notifications, and asynchronous user journeys. 

• Lead extensions and integrations for the WSO2 Developer Portal and connect frontend applications with Control Plane and WSO2 REST APIs. 

• Implement secure token handling and refresh flows, together with role-based and attribute-based access controls and tenant segregation. 

• Deliver tailored experiences for PSP users, operators, administrators and auditors within a complex enterprise ecosystem. 

• Champion responsive design, accessibility, frontend performance, secure coding and maintainability. 

• Define and oversee unit, component, integration and end-to-end testing practices. 

• Conduct code reviews, mentor frontend engineers, and promote consistent development standards. 

• Collaborate with Backend, IAM, QA, Product and Architecture teams throughout the software development lifecycle. 

Your Profile

• • Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript in enterprise-grade applications. 
  • Good knowledge of Angular and Node.js as complementary technologies.
  • Proven experience leading front-end architecture, technical decisions and engineering teams. 
  • Experience with component design, state management, routing, complex forms, and reusable design systems. 
  • Hands-on experience integrating REST APIs and implementing OAuth2/OIDC, JWT and secure token-management patterns. 
  • Understanding of RBAC/ABAC, multi-tenancy, accessibility, responsive design, and front-end security. 
  • Experience with automated testing across unit, component, integration and end-to-end layers. 
  • Experience with WSO2 API Manager Developer Portal extensions or a comparable API developer portal is highly desirable. 
  • Experience in payments, financial services, PSP onboarding, or another regulated environment is considered a strong asset. 
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and mentoring skills. 
  • Experience working in international and multicultural Agile delivery environments. 
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Italian language capability is highly desirable.
