WLAN Developer

Location :- Hyderabad/Bangalore

Your Role

As a WLAN Developer, you will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and troubleshooting of wireless LAN features across embedded and system platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and high-performance connectivity solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain WLAN features and functionalities for embedded/Linux platforms
  • Work on 802.11 protocols (a/b/g/n/ac/ax) including MAC and PHY layer interactions
  • Debug and resolve complex WiFi connectivity, performance, and stability issues
  • Collaborate with firmware, driver, and hardware teams for integration and testing
  • Analyze network traffic using tools like Wireshark and protocol analyzers
  • Optimize WLAN performance, throughput, latency, and power consumption
  • Implement and validate networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, DNS)
  • Support certification and compliance activities (WiFi Alliance standards)
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices
  • Contribute to feature design, documentation, and technical discussions

Your Profile

  • 4–8 years of experience in WLAN development or wireless networking
  • Strong understanding of IEEE 802.11 standards and WiFi architecture
  • Hands-on experience in Linux/Android networking stack or embedded systems
  • Proficiency in C/C++ (mandatory)
  • Experience with debugging tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, or sniffer tools
  • Good knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP stack)
  • Familiarity with device drivers and kernel-level development (nice to have)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field
