Senior Test Automation Engineer

Your Role

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test suites for RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Build reusable and scalable API automation frameworks using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Karate, or similar.
  • Validate API responses, status codes, headers, request/response payloads, and error handling in alignment with business requirements.
  • Integrate API test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure complete technical and functional coverage.

Your Profile

  • Strong expertise in API automation with hands‑on experience using Postman, REST Assured, Karate, or similar tools.
  • In‑depth understanding of REST/GraphQL, HTTP methods, JSON/XML, authentication, and web services.
  • Experience validating backend workflows, service logic, and API integrations.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and version control using Git.
  • Ability to troubleshoot API failures, analyze logs, and identify backend issues.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and passion for automation engineering.
