SQL DBA

Your Role

• Administer, maintain and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases with expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL processes.
• Strong knowledge of database administration backup and recovery and performance tuning.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database-related issues; including performance tuning and query optimization.
• Collaborate with application developers to support database-driven applications.
• Create and manage database user accounts roles and permissions.
• Plan and execute the migration from SQL Server 2012 to SQL Server 2019 or the latest version ensuring a smooth transition with minimal downtime
• Develop and maintain documentation related to database configurations; procedures; and policies.
• Perform database capacity planning and recommend software upgrades as needed.  
• Deploy/Maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports and dashboards for data visualization and business intelligence
• Collaborate with application developers to support database-driven applications
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or later versions.
• Experience with performance monitoring and optimization.
• Experience with automation and scripting for database administration tasks.
