Cloud Architect

Main Skills

*Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or Math
*Advanced knowledge of the AWS services
*Ability to evaluate AWS , AZURE cloud applications requirements and make architectural recommendations and documentation for implementation, deployment and provisioning
*Working knowledge of cloud native architectures
*Knowledge of a programming language (Python, JavaScript, Go, Java, etc.) and/or scripting, Infrastructure as Code etc.
*In-depth working knowledge in a technology domain such as distributed web applications, DevOps, Serverless, Big Data, Analytics, Machine Learning, high-performance databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)…
*Basic understanding of cloud networks (VPC, security groups)
*Basic cloud security experience (firewalls, encryption, IAM, roles)
*Good command of engineering practices such as code refactoring, design patterns, design driven development, CI/CD, building highly scalable application and API’s, and security
*Proficiency in English

Nice to have

*AWS certification (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) or other industry certification
*Experience with migration projects (software and data)
*Experience in project and solution estimation and team structure definition

Mandatory Skills            

*Designing, documenting and deploying cloud architectures in AWS (Amazon Web Services, Azure) 
*AWS data related services (Athena, RDS, Aurora, S3, Redshift, etc.) , Cloud native AI services (e.g. Amzn Bedrock, MS Azure OpenAI)
*Software development, Operations, DevOps engineering, or systems architecture 
*Cloud networking and security (VPC, IAM, etc.)
