BT - Transformation Management Director

Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned and dynamic Transformation Management leader who can lead complex, multi‑stream digital transformation programs that span People, Process, Technology, Data, and Regulatory domains—moving beyond execution governance to business value realization at enterprise scale. This is a strategic leadership role that will steer strategy to execution, architect pragmatic governance models and embed outcome‑based delivery (OKRs/KPIs, value realization) while orchestrating cross‑functional teams and partner ecosystems in a rapidly evolving business landscape. You will own client CxO relationships as a trusted advisor, bring delivery‑led growth and mature our Transformation Management and Value Realization Office offering and practice within the Business Technology capability at Invent India. This includes shaping GTM plays, leading pre‑sales and solutioning for global RFPs and mentoring a high‑performing team of engagement managers, program leads and PMO specialists.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for defining and institutionalizing enterprise‑grade transformation governance (portfolio, program, product levels) with clear decision rights, approval gates and escalation paths.
  • Shape transformation narratives and investment cases, facilitate steerco and board‑level conversations.
  • Orchestrate large, multi‑stream, cross‑geo, cross‑function programs (business & IT) using agile or hybrid models and integrate program controls like RAID, dependency mapping, critical path, realized/ earned value, change control and stage‑gate reviews thereby actively managing scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk.
  • Partner with clients to drive outcomes and realize business value by defining OKRs/KPIs, value hypotheses and benefit measurement frameworks, stand‑up executive dashboards and cadenced reporting.
  • Standardize tooling for delivery excellence with tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Power BI and portfolio tools (e.g., Clarity/Planview).
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to CxOs and senior sponsors, navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, resolve escalations and maintain alignment with evolving priorities.

Primary Skills

  • 16+ years of experience overall with atleast 12+ years of experience in consulting and transformation leadership delivering large, multi‑stream programs across regions or business units in program governance/PMO, portfolio management and value realization with outcome‑based delivery (OKRs/KPIs).
  • Strong executive presence, adept at C‑suite advisory, complex stakeholder management, and conflict resolution with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and ability to influence at the executive level.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading diverse and distributed teams, cross-functional collaborations and managing vendor/ partner ecosystems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and implement structured, scalable solutions.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on leadership and execution.
