Your Role

As an AMP DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in the development, automation, deployment, and operational management of the Automation Management Platform (AMP), a customer-facing “DevOps in a box” solution. You will contribute to the platform roadmap, ensure secure and scalable deployments across on‑prem and constrained environments, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams.In this role, you will support the architecture, design, and evolution of AMP across Kubernetes (RKE2), Jenkins, Gitea, Nexus, cert‑manager, Argo CD, and emerging tools such as Backstage. You will contribute to the AMP self-installer by working on Ansible-based RKE2/Kubernetes bootstrap solutions on RHEL and maintain bundling of container images, Helm charts, and configuration files. You will ensure that AMP can be deployed reliably in on-premises, constrained, and air‑gapped environments.You will design and implement platform automation using Python, Go, Bash, and Ansible. This includes configuring and automating Jenkins with PiNK/Kubernetes agents, Sonatype Nexus, Gitea with PostgreSQL, Argo CD, and cert‑manager, while building reusable GitOps‑based automation patterns for multi‑customer deployments. 

Your Profile

You bring strong backend and platform engineering experience using Python and/or Go, along with solid Bash and Ansible scripting skills. You have a strong understanding of software architecture, secure development, and REST API design. You have deep hands‑on experience with Kubernetes (RKE2 or similar), including cluster provisioning, upgrades, and day‑2 operations, along with Helm‑based deployments, GitOps workflows using Argo CD, and certificate management with cert‑manager. You are experienced in operating DevOps tools such as Jenkins with Kubernetes/Podman‑in‑Kubernetes agents, Sonatype Nexus, Gitea, and PostgreSQL or similar databases.

Education Qualification

You should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a STEM discipline with relevant professional experience.
