SAP Application Support Finance Lead

Your Role

As Application Support Finance Lead, you will:

• Be responsible for the finance scope of an application support contract within an overall Application Support Team.
• Lead a team of 3-10 consultants, onshore and offshore as part of the application support contract.
• Manage the finance tickets and distribute among your finance consultants onshore and offshore to resolve and close the tickets within the agreed SLAs and avoid building a backlog of tickets in your area.
• Resolve some of the tickets yourself.
• Work on minor change requests and/or small projects yourself or with your team.
•  Accompany Capgemini’s clients in key design decisions in the Finance space, integrated with other functional and technical areas.
• Design, configure, and optimize SAP Solutions from a finance perspective to meet evolving business needs, based on SAP standard and industry best practices for both RISE and GROW.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT professionals, and external vendors, to ensure successful SAP ticket resolution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing relationships throughout implementation and technical build processes.

Your Profile

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in SAP Finance, especially supporting SAP Finance for your clients.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA (Finance & Controlling), having supported at least 2 to 3 clients over the years.
• Proven track record in leading a finance support team across diverse industry sectors, including multicultural environments.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence your business and IT stakeholders
