V.I.E. Contract - Experienced Java Spring Boot Developer

Job Context

As part of a large‑scale digital transformation program within a major insurance company, you will join an Agile Squad working on critical services and applications.

You will contribute to the development and evolution of high‑impact business solutions in an environment that promotes software quality, craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and collective learning.

Your Role

As an Experienced Java Spring Boot Developer, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing robust, maintainable, and high‑performance Java / Spring Boot services.
• Contributing to solution co‑construction with architects, the Product Owner, and Squad members.
• Applying development best practices (Clean Code, SOLID principles, automated testing, continuous integration).
• Participating in code reviews, pair programming, and Agile rituals.
• Contributing to the preparation and monitoring of production releases, ensuring component reliability and security.
• Driving continuous improvement of existing solutions (technical debt reduction, quality, performance).

Your Profile

• You have at least 3 years of experience in Java development, ideally in a demanding environment.
• You have strong expertise in Java (8+) and Spring Boot, with a solid understanding of service‑oriented architectures.
• You have experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and code quality tools.
• You are comfortable working in an Agile environment and enjoy collaborative teamwork.
• You demonstrate autonomy, rigor, and a constructive, solution‑oriented mindset.
