About the Role
Capgemini Engineering Finland is looking for a dynamic and experienced Pipin Design Engineer to join our team in Jyväskylä.
In this role, you will play a key part in:
• Design and model piping systems using advanced CAD tools ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance
• Perform or oversee stress analysis, pipe sizing, and layout optimization.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate piping solutions into broader plant designs.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, and specifications for fabrication and installation.
• Support or lead project execution, including site visits for verification, installation support, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards (ASME, ISO) and specific engineering practices.
• Contribute to or lead continuous improvement initiatives in design processes and tools.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical decision-making, depending on seniority.
Your Profile
• Degree in Mechanical, Process, or Piping Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience of Piping design within industrial project; level of responsibility scales with experience
• Proficiency in 3D modeling tools and understanding of piping codes and standards.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Leadership and strategic thinking capabilities for senior roles.
• Fluent in English, Finnish is preferred
