Job Description

Looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Test Automation Engineer to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automated testing, test script development, and a solid understanding of software development and testing life cycles. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Contribute to test planning, test case design, and test data management.
• Maintain documentation for test procedures and automation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4 to 9 years of experience in test automation and software testing.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or similar.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of application lifecycle management (ALM) and DevOps practices.
