Scrum Master
Your Role
- Facilitate and lead Agile Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
- Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, Kanban practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Identify, track, and remove impediments or blockers impacting team productivity and sprint goals.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to support backlog management, prioritization, and release planning activities.
- Monitor sprint progress through Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, burnup charts, and team performance indicators.
- Drive transparency and Agile delivery governance using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, and Confluence.
- Coordinate dependencies across cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders, development teams, QA teams, and leadership.
- Support Agile transformation initiatives and help teams transition from traditional project management approaches to Agile delivery models.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and high-performing team dynamics.
Your Profile :
- Experienced Scrum Master with 6–12 years of overall IT experience, including proven expertise in facilitating Agile software development teams.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Agile delivery frameworks, with the ability to coach teams toward Agile maturity.
- Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, and Confluence.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive successful sprint execution.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), CI/CD practices, and DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience tracking Agile performance metrics and generating reports for leadership and delivery teams.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple teams, manage dependencies, and ensure timely product delivery in dynamic environments.
- Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or SAFe Agilist are highly preferred.
- PMP or additional Agile certifications will be considered an advantage.
