IIOT Solution Architect

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Industrial Data Platforms leveraging Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) for Energy & Utility clients.
• Architect solutions for asset monitoring, predictive maintenance, digital twins, operational intelligence, and sustainability initiatives.
• Drive the integration of OT systems (SCADA, DCS, PLCs, Historians) with enterprise platforms including ERP, EAM, GIS, Data Lakes, and Cloud ecosystems.
• Define and govern enterprise data models, data contextualization strategies, and industrial data governance frameworks to enable scalable and trusted data environments.
• Lead the development and execution of Energy Transition use cases, including renewable asset management, grid modernization, reliability improvement, and operational efficiency programs.
• Provide strategic leadership for cloud, edge, and enterprise integration architecture, ensuring alignment with business and technology objectives.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Digital, and IT stakeholders to deliver business-driven transformation outcomes.
• Establish and oversee solution governance, architecture standards, and best practices across large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Advise client executives on IIoT, industrial data strategy, OT/IT convergence, and digital transformation roadmaps.
• Mentor solution architects, engineering teams, and delivery organizations while providing technical leadership across complex programs.
• Drive innovation and thought leadership in Industrial IoT, operational data management, and digital asset performance optimization.
• Support business growth through solution development, client engagement, pursuit support, and strategic advisory services.

Our Ideal Candidate

/They will have 20-25 years of experience in Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) with a strong project track record and demonstrated P&L contribution to sales. A Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA is strongly preferred.
