The Opportunity

• Serve as the strategic IT co-pilot for Generative AI, responsible for influencing & aligning stakeholders to ensure business strategies are enabled by appropriate technological solutions.
• Build and lead a generative AI practice within Capgemini Invent. This includes use case development and associated stakeholder management in various business areas. It also means talent development (both recruiting new talent and training existing workforce), infrastructure and tooling (in collaboration with leadership and Group IT), education of stakeholders and community, vendor selection/collaboration and governance.
• Manage various stakeholders during solution design and project execution to successfully create solutions and deploy them into full production. Organizational effectiveness, storytelling and product branding are as important as technical leadership.
• Serve as a key advisor, identify, and direct enterprise-wide strategy projects and oversee execution of related deliverables across the industries.
• Partners with industry leaders across the group to deliver market leading Generative AI solutions to achieve engagement and quality outcomes.
• Utilize advanced Generative AI techniques to create high-performing solutions to address business objectives and client needs. Research on new Generative AI/LLM advancements, for continual improvement of the solutions.
• Manage, grow, and retain a strong team of highly skilled Gen AI specialists. Includes goal setting, performance evaluation, effective resource allocation and career/skill development, hiring and training.
• Explore, design, develop and gain buy-in on new valuable Generative AI use cases. Create a strategy and a project pipeline. New use case development can lead to further growth of the team under this role.
• Work closely with the business leaders, Group IT, and several other BU/GBL in designing, building, and implementing these solutions.
• Proactively and effectively communicate in various verbal and written formats with internal/external stakeholders on product design, model implementations, collaboration ideas, opportunities, questions etc. Resolve problems and remove obstacles to timely and high-quality project completion.
• Support internal events, expos, lunch & learns, etc. with capability demos and presentations. Be flexible at travelling for the same.

Primary Skills

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business or relevant business function or equivalent.
• 15+ years of executive experience in IT, experience specifically in AI and Large Language Models (LLM).
• 5+ years of direct people management experience, including growing a technical team and recruiting (and retaining) talent. Proven ability to effectively manage own and associates’ time while multitasking between multiple, time-sensitive projects and competing priorities in a dynamic business environment while maintaining strong, productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Experience in client-facing roles in a specific industry or a consulting firm with account/engagement management role in the professional services industry.
• Deep understanding of AI technologies and their application in business operations.
• Project/Program management experience of complex global projects. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget.
• Solutions Architecture, Applications portfolio management experience.
• Project Financials handling – Budgets, Cost, Revenue
• Experience running waterfall and agile projects and programs.
• Experience globally deploying platforms.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to lead and mentor direct and indirect teams to deliver high-quality results.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, listening and teamwork skills, and effective presentation skills. This is essential since the leader will have a lot of exposure to different internal groups (Business functions, Data, IT, Legal, Government Relations, etc.) as well as third-party data vendors and consultants.
