Job Description
Drive business growth for our Retail and Consumer Products & Retail (CPR) Advisory practice by leading Business Development efforts with primary focus on India. The candidate should secure high-value client engagements, and delivering transformative strategies. Spearhead opportunity identification, proposal development, and account expansion in retail/CG across the value chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end BD cycles: prospecting, pitching, ability to create and manage deals, and close with C-suite stakeholders in retail/CPR sectors
- Build and nurture strategic client relationships, expanding accounts through upselling advisory services across value chain
- Develop thought leadership content (whitepapers, webinars) to generate leads and position the firm as a market leader
- Spearhead latest in technology (AI and Agentic) conversation in the Industry(function focused) relevant landscape
- Analyze market trends and competitors to craft targeted go-to-market strategies
Primary Skills
- Post Graduate degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field
- 10+ years in retail/CPR consulting (e.g., Big 4, boutique firms), with 5+ years in BD/sales achieving quotas (e.g., “xx” value of annual pipeline)
- Should have strong understanding and would have worked in the AI and Agentic landscape relevant for the Industry
- Led a team and delegated responsibility with guidance
- Engages with Internal and External stakeholders to have alignment and secure business
- Build strategic leadership to drive outcomes
