Job Description
The Marketing Project Lead is responsible for managing and delivering complex marketing and creative projects across multiple stakeholders, teams, and workstreams. This role ensures projects are executed efficiently, risks are managed proactively, and business objectives are achieved through strong project governance, planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Leadership
- Lead complex marketing and creative initiatives from planning through delivery.
- Translate business requirements into actionable project plans.
- Ensure projects meet timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Planning & Execution
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans.
- Manage multiple priorities, timelines, and dependencies.
- Coordinate resources and align teams toward project goals.
- Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Facilitate project meetings and governance forums.
- Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations effectively.
- Support informed decision-making through clear reporting.
Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project success.
- Manage issues, dependencies, and escalations proactively.
- Develop contingency plans when required.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Create and maintain dashboards and project reports.
- Monitor KPIs and delivery performance.
- Provide executive-level visibility into project health and outcomes.
Innovation & Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve project management practices.
- Support the adoption of AI-enabled tools and automation solutions.
- Contribute to the development of delivery standards and best practices.
Team Support
- Mentor junior project managers, PMOs, and coordinators.
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and knowledge sharing.
- Support service growth and operational initiatives.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or Master's degree preferred.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, Marketing Operations, or related fields.
- Proven experience managing complex marketing or creative programs.
- Experience working with global and cross-functional teams.
