Job Description
As a Product Data Specialist, you ensure the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of product data across platforms. You support data governance, streamline workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product data with marketing objectives. This role is key to driving efficient digital marketing initiatives and optimizing campaign performance within the Consumer-Packaged Goods sector.
Job Description - Grade Specific
Accountabilities:
- Manage and update product information in PIM systems to support marketing objectives.
- Ensure data accuracy through audits and discrepancy resolution.
- Collaborate with Marketing, IT, and Content teams for data integration and alignment.
- Support data governance and compliance with internal standards.
- Assist with system integrations and optimize data flow for digital platforms.
- Maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
- Contribute to special projects related to product data and marketing initiatives.
Skills – needed but not limited to
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product data management in marketing or ecommerce contexts.
- Previous experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) sector or a similar industry, (e.g. Pharmacy).
- Experience working with Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
- Advanced Excel skills for dashboard creation and reports.
- Attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve data issues.
- Client-facing/stakeholders experience and strong communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve product data challenges.
- Project management and organizational skills.
- English Level (B2+)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
