Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, consolidate, and review financial and tax reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the preparation and review of budgets, forecasts, and financial performance analyses.
- Generate standard and ad-hoc financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and monitor end-to-end control of financial reporting and accounting processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS/NIIF and applicable accounting standards (IAS/NIC).
- Ensure compliance with local tax legislation, accounting regulations, and corporate reporting requirements.
- Perform account reconciliations, variance analysis, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Accounting Technician (Perito Contador) and/or Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting and Auditing (CPA equivalent).
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, tax reporting, or related finance functions.
- Experience in:
- Financial Reporting
- Accounting principles and practices
- IFRS / NIIF
- IAS / NIC
- Financial Statements preparation and analysis
- Local tax legislation and regulatory compliance
- Experience with report consolidation and financial analysis.
- Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.
- English level B2 or higher, with the ability to participate in meetings and answer business-related questions.
