Finance Reporter Officer
Job Description
This role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with local tax laws and regulations, while also providing strategic tax advisory services to support business decisions and risk management. The specialist will develop and maintain an efficient local tax strategy, oversee the preparation and timely submission of tax returns, and act as the key liaison between accounting and tax functions—excluding responsibilities related to tax accounting, which are handled by general accounting teams. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate transaction records, ensuring end-to-end process control, generating both standard and customized financial and tax reports, managing internal and external queries, supporting Group and statutory reporting, and contributing to finance and tax-related projects aimed at continuous improvement and compliance.

Responsibilities:
· Ensure timely and precise recording of transactions in accounting systems in accordance with Group and local accounting and tax regulations.
· Oversee end-to-end process control and quality assurance.
· Generate standard and nonstandard reports for internal use.
· Handle internal and external queries from stakeholders involved in the process.
· Assist in Group and statutory external reporting, including drafting tax returns and disclosure notes.
· Participate in internal projects impacting finance and tax areas.
· Provide process expertise and training to junior staff.
· Support budget preparation and review activities.
· Maintain strong attention to report requirements and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
· Degree in Finance or Public Accounting.
· 2–4 years of experience in a similar role.
· Strong accounting background with practical knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and tax regulations.
· Operational experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
· Intermediate proficiency in English (written and verbal).
· Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· High attention to detail with the ability to understand the broader financial process.
· Ability to manage and take responsibility for end-to-end processes.
· Capable of independently solving day-to-day issues and suggesting improvements.
· Proficient in MS Excel and accounting/reporting tools.
