We are looking for a results-oriented Design Team Manager to lead the creative team for a strategic telecommunications brand. In this role, you will partner closely with the client's multi-functional marketing leadership, build trusted client partnerships, and lead a team of designers to ensure consistent delivery excellence of all client work. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing client services for large brands in creative and media management within an agency environment.
Role Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for creative project delivery for clients, overseeing design teams and processes from concept to execution, ensuring design quality, and fostering innovation. The focus of the role is the effective management of project targets and deadlines, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met according to contractual and client expectations, while maintaining a high standard of service quality.
With 10–12 years of experience in production and design leadership, this individual will oversee a multi-skilled, complex delivery organization from concept through execution, ensuring on-time delivery and the highest quality.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in creative and content production processes within the telecom, CPG, or retail industries.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a large studio and project management creative team to create effective digital assets.
- Oversee complex creative and content delivery processes from concept through execution, ensuring on-time delivery and high quality.
- Provide creative direction and technical guidance across the engagement, from intake to final delivery.
- Implement and monitor quality standards across all creative assets and deliverables.
- Ensure delivery excellence across all client projects through strong governance and review mechanisms.
- Champion a strategic partnership mindset that enhances and elevates the client experience.
- Continuously seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen relationships.
- Stay ahead of design, AI, and digital marketing trends to push creative and content boundaries.
- Identify opportunities where the team can add value and expand scope of work.
- Translate client business goals into creative solutions that drive measurable results.
Qualifications (Education/Experience/Certification)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in a creative leadership role within a branding/design agency environment.
- Proven experience in delivery management for global clients across marketing, creative, and content operations.
- 3–5 years of experience managing direct reports, with strong leadership and mentoring abilities, including talent development.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative leadership and experience in digital ads, landing pages, and motion graphics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
