Trainee Repairs Engineer (On-site in Querétaro)

Your role
As a Trainee Repair Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team working on aircraft structural repairs and modifications. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in defining appropriate repair solutions for aircraft structures
- Supporting preliminary design and stress assessments
- Contributing to structural assembly activities
- Helping prepare justification documents for repair solutions
- Analyzing repair applicability and aircraft configurations
- Assisting in the analysis and design of modifications for Structure Repair Manuals
- Supporting communication and coordination among transnational teams
Your profile
- Good conversational English (B2, C1, C2)
- Currently in final year of studies or recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Must have full-time availability
- Proactive approach to problem-solving with an open mind
- Basic understanding of structural aircraft design, especially in repairs or concessions, for both metallic and composite structures
- Familiarity with stress justifications for in-service support or concessions, from both static and fatigue perspectives
- Understanding of engineering judgment approaches to repairs or concessions
- Familiarity with aircraft documentation (e.g., drawings, technical notes, manuals, service bulletins)
- Basic knowledge of CAD software such as CATIA v5
- Awareness of calculation software like ISAMI tools, Nastran, Hypermesh
- Understanding of static and fatigue analysis principles
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a transnational team
- Knowledge of French or German is a plus
