Senior MES Engineer - GE Proficy (Remote anywhere in México)

Your role

We are seeking a MES Engineer with GE Proficy experience to support the implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of manufacturing digital solutions. This role focuses on working across the different components of Proficy Plant Applications, including administration, desktop client, and Web Client, ensuring that production data is effectively captured, analyzed, and used by plant teams. The position involves collaborating with manufacturing sites, assisting with system adoption, troubleshooting issues, and supporting data analysis through basic SQL queries. This is a hands-on role that combines technical expertise with operational understanding, offering the opportunity to contribute directly to improving visibility and efficiency in production environments.

  • Interaction with various manufacturing sites
  • Scheduling time and helping the site to adopt the web client
  • Help sites to resolve queries and issues

Your profile

GE Proficy Engineer should be proficient in the use of the software components below.

  • Proficy 2023 Plant Applications, Enterprise Edition, SIM 15 release
  • Proficy Plant Applications Administrator
  • Proficy Plant Applications Client (Windows-based)
  • Proficy Plant Applications Web Client. Within the web client, these pages in Plant Applications are used:
    • My Machines
    • Downtime
    • Autolog
    • Activities
    • Analysis
    • Alarms
    • Process Orders
    • Waste
    • (Additional pages maybe included e.g. Genealogy, Operator Log, as identified by business need)
  • Should be familiar with running basic queries against the Proficy GBDB database in MS SQL Server Management Studio
  • Need to continuously Improve migration processes of proficy web client to reduce delivery time
  • Mandatory Skills: GE Proficy, Dot net, SQL
