React Native Developer (Remote in México)

Your role

In this role, you will play a key role in:

  • Designing and implementing mobile features using React Native, TypeScript, and ES6+, leveraging React Hooks and functional components to create seamless user experiences
  • Managing complex application state with Redux and Context API, ensuring efficient data flow and component interaction across the application
  • Building responsive and accessible UI components with Styled Components/CSS-in-JS that adhere to design systems and accessibility standards
  • Integrating RESTful APIs and implementing offline capabilities with Realm to ensure applications work reliably in various network conditions
  • Setting up comprehensive testing strategies with Jest for unit tests and Detox for end-to-end testing to maintain high code quality
  • Optimizing application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks in startup time, memory usage, and rendering efficiency
  • Implementing platform-specific features and push notifications to enhance user engagement
  • Preparing releases for App Store and Google Play, including managing the submission process and phased rollouts
  • Contributing to CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane and GitHub Actions to automate build and deployment processes

Your profile

  • Good conversational English (B2, C1, C2)
  • 4+ years of professional experience relevant to the role. (Mid-level position)
  • Strong experience with React Native and TypeScript, with deep understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+) concepts
  • Proven track record implementing state management solutions using Redux/Redux Toolkit and Context API
  • Experience building and styling responsive UI components with CSS-in-JS libraries like Styled Components
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API integration, including error handling, caching strategies, and offline synchronization
  • Proficiency with testing frameworks such as Jest for unit testing and experience with E2E testing tools like Detox
  • Knowledge of mobile performance optimization techniques and debugging tools like Flipper
  • Experience with the full mobile application lifecycle, including store submissions and release management
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools for mobile application development
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
