QA Engineer
Your role:
-
Key responsibilities:
• Responsible for ensuring quality release delivery through comprehensive test planning, execution, reporting and closure of release test activities.
• Expertise testing distributed microservices in a Kubernetes environment.
• Expertise in non-functional testing (Performance, Scalability, Concurrency, Reliability, Availability, Interoperability, Compatibility) from planning to test execution, and reporting.
• Expertise with test automation including integration into a CI/CD pipeline
• Responsible for supporting team in implementation of testing best practices to ensure quality deliveries (you won’t be writing all the tests yourself)
Functional Testing:
• Analyze business and technical requirements to design test scenarios for UI, API, and microservices-based applications.
• Perform manual functional testing including system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate UI workflows, API contracts, and inter-service communication in microservices architectures.
• Verify data integrity, business rules, and backend processing across distributed systems.
• Log, track, and validate defects using standard defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners to resolve functional issues.
Test Automation:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing using Katalon Studio and Playwright.
• Automate regression and smoke test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain automation frameworks, test data, and execution reports.
• Ensure stability and reliability of automated tests across multiple environments.
Your skills:

Primary skillset:
• SDLC, Manual Testing (STLC), Automation testing using Katalon, Selenium, BDD cucumber, API
• Testing using Postman, Git, Jenkins, JMeter, Gatling, Locust, or similar.
• Knowledge of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps., Agile Process
• Solid understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and network protocols.
Secondary skillset:
• Shell Script, Kubernetes
