MLOps Engineer - Remote

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Data Scientist / MLOps Engineer with strong expertise in Python, PySpark, Databricks, and Azure DevOps to enhance our Marine-Operations Performance Monitoring & Forecasting capabilities. You will work on mission-critical systems such as regression models for shipboard performance and advanced fuel forecasting models deployed in Azure.

This role requires strong software engineering skills in Python and practical experience deploying ML solutions at scale in the cloud.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or MLOps Engineer.

• Expert Python software engineering (packaging, unit tests, CI, linting, modular design).
• Strong experience with PySpark and Databricks.
• Practical experience with MLflow (Tracking, Model Registry).
• Machine learning fundamentals: regression/classification, feature engineering, model evaluation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD for data and ML pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Storage and Azure Container Apps)
• Cloud security fundamentals: Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault, networking (NSGs, private endpoints).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
