HMI UX Performance Engineer

Join Capgemini Engineering as an HMI UX Performance Engineer — help shape intuitive, safe, and delightful in-vehicle experiences. We’re seeking a motivated engineer with 2–3 years’ experience HMI/UX.

YOUR ROLE:

• Create clear, robust HMI feature and interaction specifications aligned to system and electrical requirements.
• Define feedback, messaging, auditory signals, functional grouping, and feature logic for vehicle and infotainment systems.
• Lead change requests and coordinate with suppliers, engineering, and validation teams to ensure correct implementation.
• Support and design user tests; work with validation teams to verify feature logic and resolve issues.
• Present design proposals, benchmarking, and user test results; recommend and drive interaction improvements.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology, Human Kinetics, or related field.
• Experience in user-centered design, requirements development, and vehicle lifecycle processes.
• Familiarity with electrical engineering development processes and HMI validation methods.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Photoshop, Visio, Adobe XD; DOORS desirable.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, teamwork, problem solving, and ability to prioritize across changing vehicle designs.
