Dimensional & Tolerance (Remote in México)

Your role
In this role, you will play a key role in:
- Developing, defining, documenting, and communicating dimensional requirements for automotive components and systems
- Creating and approving 2D dimensional drawings released in 3D math models while defining and coordinating measurement points
- Performing statistical analysis through variation simulations (1D/3D studies) to validate design capability
- Recommending and documenting preferred gauging methods for various commodities
- Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to develop effective datum strategies
- Analyzing data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for build issues
- Maintaining regular communication with the supply base to ensure alignment on dimensional requirements
- Contributing to the development of training materials and maintaining comprehensive libraries of dimensional information
Your profile
- Good conversational English skills (B2, C1, C2)
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 2-4 years of automotive product or manufacturing experience. (Junior/Mid level)
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles and applications
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably NX or CATIA
- Demonstrated knowledge in basic statistics, process control, and data analysis
- Experience in performing Root Sum Square (RSS) variation studies to validate design capability
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities and experience working effectively within cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
