DevSecOps Lead (Remote in México)

Your role

We are looking for a DevSecOps Lead who will take a highly proactive and hands‑on role in driving the DevSecOps function. This position requires strong autonomy and technical depth, focusing on defining standards, securing the delivery pipeline, strengthening cloud and Kubernetes security, and ensuring reliable, automated software delivery across the platform. You will enable teams by providing platform templates and clear, well‑maintained documentation that supports consistent and secure delivery practices.

 

  • Own CI/CD pipelines with SAST/DAST/SCA, SBOM, signing.
  • Manage Kubernetes/EKS policies (IRSA, OPA, network policies).
  • Implement GitOps (Argo CD) and progressive delivery (Rollouts).
  • Ensure security posture: IAM, secrets, encryption, WAF, vulnerability management.
  • Lead observability: CloudWatch, Splunk.
  • Oversee DR, backup, resilience patterns, incident response.
  • Enable teams with platform templates and documentation.
  • Act as the technical lead of the DevSecOps area, guiding principles and best practices across teams without managing headcount.

 

 

Your profile

  • Good conversational English (B2, C1, C2)
  • 4+ years of professional experience relevant to the role

  • Software supply chain security: SBOM, signing
  • Container orchestration: Kubernetes, Amazon EKS
  • Policy enforcement frameworks: OPA

  • Progressive delivery practices: Argo Rollouts
  • Secrets and encryption management
  • WAF configuration and management
  • Vulnerability management and remediation strategies
  • Observability with CloudWatch, Splunk
  • Disaster recovery and backup strategy design
  • Resilience and high‑availability architecture patterns
  • Incident response and operational readiness
  • Ability to create templates, standards, and documentation for engineering teams
