YOUR ROLE
As Design & Release Engineer you will participate in activities associated with the release of Brackets to support combustion or electrical engines or power electronic accessories. Launch activity support is also required for the development, validation, and production implementation of future model year programs.
The DRE is expected to report directly to senior management, ensuring constant and efficient communication with suppliers and manufacturing facilities as well as diverse teams in the engineering offices.
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor Degree in Automotive, Mechanical or equivalent.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
1+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
Experience working with structural components such as brackets.
Ability to write executive summaries and presentations to senior management.
Able to work with CAD and PLM software (Preferably NX/Teamcenter).
Knowledge of the DFMEA/PFMEA, DRBFM methodologies
Knowledge of core tools to support APQP/PPAP activities.
Tolerance Stack Up Analysis (VSA) knowledge.
Experience supervising completion of DVP&Rs as well as hardware testing (DV/PV).
Experience with Materials and BOMs.
Willing to work on a hybrid scheme from Santa Fe, CDMX
