Join the Financial Services Business Unit within Capgemini’s Cloud and Custom Applications (C&CA) practice as a Java Full Stack Developer. In this role, you will help design and deliver business-critical digital solutions that create measurable value for clients. Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
- Deliver high-quality full-stack application solutions that meet business and customer objectives.
- Contribute to the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and resilient application architectures.
- Collaborate effectively with product, engineering, architecture, and delivery teams to achieve successful outcomes.
- Apply AI-enabled ways of working to enhance productivity, accelerate delivery, and improve quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Champion secure, compliant, and high-quality engineering practices across all stages of delivery.
- Support continuous improvement through peer reviews, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback.
- Identify opportunities to optimise performance, reliability, and user experience within delivered solutions.
- Contribute to agile delivery by actively participating in planning, estimation, refinement, and continuous improvement activities.
- Build and nurture a future-ready engineering culture through continuous learning, innovation, and mentoring where appropriate.
- Strong experience delivering full-stack application development across frontend and backend environments.
- Proven experience designing and developing scalable APIs and distributed application solutions.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, application design patterns, and modern development practices.
- Experience working with relational and non-relational data platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud-native application development and deployment concepts.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development practices to improve productivity, quality, and delivery outcomes.
- Knowledge of software delivery lifecycle processes, version control, automation, and DevOps principles.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments and cross-functional teams.

- RESTful API and microservices frameworks
- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform certifications
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Git-based source control platforms

- Relevant cloud, architecture, agile, or software engineering certifications
