YOUR ROLE
As a Business Analyst (Regulatory Reporting), you will bridge Finance/Risk, Compliance, and Technology to design, evolve, and control the banks' regulatory reporting capabilities. You will translate regulatory obligations into clear business and data requirements, steward the end‑to‑end change lifecycle, and help industrialize reporting processes with robust data quality controls and auditability.
- Elicit, document, and maintain business/data requirements for Swiss regulatory reports, large exposures, and liquidity reporting; Translate new and evolving rules into implementable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Define data sourcing, lineage, and transformation logic from core banking (e.g., Avaloq/Temenos), data warehouses/lakes, and golden sources to the reporting layer;
- Own the backlog for regulatory reporting changes; partner with engineering teams to design target solutions and UAT plans; coordinate release activities and cut‑over;
- Drive test design and execution (functional, reconciliation, and regression tests) with emphasis on explainability and audit trails.
- Act as a trusted partner to the business teams (incl. Finance, Risk, Front Office COOs, etc.) ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and operational readiness.
YOUR PROFILE
- Master Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or IT, and 6+ years of experience in banking/wealth management with regulatory reporting BA responsibilities in Switzerland or the EU;
- Proven track record writing user stories, test scenarios, and UAT scripts; experience in Agile/Iterative delivery with JIRA/Confluence (or similar).
- Hands‑on with SQL and data profiling; comfortable with data models, lineage, and reconciliation;
- Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills in English and French.
