Your role

- Contributing to user-space tooling, scripting, and automation tasks using languages such as Bash and Python.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide Linux expertise and support across multiple product lines.
- Helping to improve internal Linux processes, testing pipelines, and technical documentation to drive efficiency and quality.
- Growing into contributing to platform architecture and long-term Linux strategy, with the opportunity to shape the direction of the Common Linux team over time.
Your profile
- Solid hands-on experience with embedded Linux development, covering user space and/or kernel space work.
- Familiarity with the Yocto Project or a comparable Linux build framework such as Buildroot — candidates motivated to learn Yocto on the job are equally welcome.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming, particularly Bash and Python, with the ability to work across multiple languages as needed.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with experience maintaining and troubleshooting Linux-based systems.
