Your role
Our (cross functional) teams of developers (also designers, business analysts) are responsible for end-to-end enterprise application development process using various the newest technologies such as: front-end (angular- and react-based), mobile applications (both iOS and Android) or low-code platform like (salesforce & Dynamics365). They are highly independent, capable in Agile Process and Lean Software Engineering practices. In our daily work we cultivate good communication and culture of feedback. Your project
The Capgemini Digital Customer Experience (DCX) helps global brands as well as public organizations to understand and implement the right mix of business focused digital capabilities and innovations following “Customer-First” approach to address both organization and customer needs.
Your tasks
- Develop, and enhance mobile applications using React Native, participating in the full software development lifecycle (requirements analysis, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and publishing to Google Play Store and Apple App Store).
- Take technical ownership of selected application modules or entire features, depending on the project scope.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance of mobile solutions.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend services, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product owners, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver high‑quality user experiences.
- Perform code reviews, share best practices, and support less experienced developers.
- Ensure high code quality by promoting best development practices (unit tests, automated testing, modern design patterns)
- Identify and address performance issues, stability risks, and security concerns.
Your profile
- 3+ years of experience in mobile application development using React Native (Expo managed and bare workflows).
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and React (Web).
- Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, including concepts such as MVVM (conceptual), Clean Architecture, separation of concerns, and testable design.
- Experience with state management and data fetching solutions such as Redux / Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query.
- Hands‑on knowledge of React Native ecosystem (React Navigation, native modules, system APIs).
- Understanding of reactive and asynchronous programming patterns in JavaScript (hooks, async/await, event‑driven state).
- Experience with App Store / Google Play Store guidelines, publishing, and troubleshooting store‑related issues.
- Fluent English communication skills; German is a significant advantage.
