Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Kubernetes, CI/CD)

Your role:

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will design and maintain secure CI/CD environments, build automated deployment pipelines, and support cloud and on-prem infrastructure. You will test and document solutions, advise project teams on DevOps automation, coordinate work in complex initiatives, and implement security practices to detect and prevent vulnerabilities throughout the development lifecycle.  

You will also support secure adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools and help teams apply security controls to modern delivery pipelines, including AI-enabled development practices where relevant.  

Working with diverse and technically advanced solutions will allow you to build strong relationships with clients and continuously grow your expertise. You will be part of highly self-organizing, independent teams that operate in agile and lean engineering environments, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.  

Your project

Cloud & Custom Applications (C&CA) provides comprehensive end-to-end IT services from business specification, through software development and implementation, to application maintenance using leading IT technologies and management methods.  

We enthusiastically institute solutions in the fields of DevOps, SRE, broadly understood automation and AI, with a practical focus on improving delivery efficiency, quality and reliability.  

Your tasks:

  • Design, build and support secure continuous integration and continuous delivery environments, with strong emphasis on security aspects for projects carried out in our department.  
  • Create deployment pipelines and scripts, and administer cloud and on-prem environments.  
  • Test and document your solutions with a focus on security, quality and maintainability.  
  • Consult project teams on DevOps automation and secure delivery practices.  
  • Coordinate teams implementing DevOps and DevSecOps solutions in complex projects.  
  • Monitor and identify potential threats in the development lifecycle.  
  • Implement tools and processes aimed at minimizing the risk of releasing code with security vulnerabilities.  
  • Enable AI-assisted engineering responsibly by supporting secure code reviews, dependency checks and quality gates for AI-supported development workflows.  
  • Contribute to security practices for AI-enabled delivery, including protection of secrets, data, model artifacts and pipeline configurations where relevant.

Your profile:

  • Master’s, engineer’s or bachelor’s degree.  
  • At least 4 years of experience in CI/CD and/or cloud technologies.  
  • Knowledge of Linux system administration.  
  • Knowledge of any scripting language.  
  • Leadership and consulting experience.  
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, minimum B2 English.  
  • Practical understanding of secure CI/CD, vulnerability scanning, dependency management and container security.  
  • Awareness of AI-assisted development risks, such as insecure generated code, data leakage, secrets exposure or unverified dependencies, will be an advantage.  
  • Experience with GenAI tools, such as GitHub Copilot or equivalent solutions, or willingness to use them responsibly in daily engineering work.
