Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Your role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure), you will design and maintain CI/CD environments, build automated deployment pipelines, and support cloud-based infrastructure using Azure services. Your responsibilities will also include creating scripts, testing and documenting solutions, consulting project teams on DevOps automation, and coordinating workstreams in complex delivery initiatives.
You will also contribute to building an AI-ready delivery environment by adopting modern tools and ways of working that improve efficiency, insight and collaboration across engineering teams.
Working with diverse and technically advanced solutions will allow you to build strong relationships with clients and continuously grow your expertise. You will be part of highly self-organizing, independent teams that operate in agile and lean engineering environments, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
Your project
Cloud & Custom Applications (C&CA) provides comprehensive end-to-end IT services from business specification, through software development and implementation, to application maintenance using leading IT technologies and management methods.
We enthusiastically institute solutions in the fields of DevOps, SRE, broadly understood automation and AI, with a practical focus on improving delivery efficiency, quality and reliability.
Your tasks
- Design, build and support continuous integration and continuous delivery environments for projects carried out in our department.
- Create deployment pipelines and scripts, and administer cloud infrastructure using Azure services.
- Test and document your solutions with a focus on reliability, quality and maintainability.
- Consult project teams on DevOps automation, cloud operating models and platform engineering practices.
- Coordinate workstreams and support teams implementing DevOps solutions in complex projects.
- Enable AI-assisted engineering practices, such as GitHub Copilot or equivalent tools, and support code reviews for quality, security and maintainability.
- Support cloud and automation patterns that can be used for AI-enabled delivery, model deployment or modern data-intensive workloads where relevant.
Your profile
- At least 5 years of experience working with Azure.
- Master’s, engineer’s or bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in CI/CD and/or cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of any scripting language.
- Leadership, consulting or coordination experience in complex delivery initiatives.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, minimum B2 English.
- Experience with Azure services supporting AI/ML workloads, automation, monitoring or secure deployment patterns will be an advantage.
- Experience with GenAI tools, such as GitHub Copilot or equivalent solutions, or willingness to actively use them to support daily engineering work.
