Senior Business IT Consultant (Automotive, German)

Your role

In the BTS Auto department, you will use your skills and experience to support our clients in the automotive area - in the field of digital transformation, digitization, Customer First, Industry 4.0, etc. We offer interesting international projects for leading clients from the automotive industry.  

Your project

Business & Technology Solutions (BTS) department is a team of business analysts, IT architects and project managers, who support our clients in designing, planning, and conducting digital transformations in their business. We create a bridge between business objectives and the world of IT solutions that can help to achieve them. We’re striving to understand client’s business, current and future challenges, as well as their IT environment. We then propose, design, plan and help to implement new technological solutions or changes in the current IT landscape to improve or transform relevant business processes. We often define requirements for new IT projects that are later implemented by other Capgemini units or external partners. 

We are hiring in Wrocław, Poznań and Gdańsk! 

Your tasks

  • Working as an independent consultant and advising our clients from the automotive industry, in the process of digital transformation, digitization, Industry 4.0, etc.;
  • Multi-aspect analysis, modeling and improvement of business processes, organizational structures and client's IT environments, as well as defining appropriate IT solutions;
  • Preparing concepts, planning and supporting the implementation of prepared solutions;
  • Conducting presentations and workshops with clients;
  • Co-creating offers for clients;
  • Supporting our clients in key processes in the automotive industry - production, logistics, marketing, sales and after-sales service - and implementing innovative trends in the industry such as connected car, customer interaction, in car services, autonomous driving, etc.
  • Supporting and mentoring less experienced consultants and leading small consulting teams. 

Your profile

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in IT consulting, designing IT architectures or implementing IT systems in enterprises, especially in the automotive industry; 
  • You have experience in analysis, modeling and process improvement;
  • You are interested in the automotive industry and changes taking place in this industry;
  • You know current market trends such as: Digitalization, Customer First, Industry 4.0;
  • You feel good in relationships with people, you are a communicative person and find satisfaction in helping business partners and gaining their attention for your ideas and services;
  • You know German and English very well;
  • You are good at analytical thinking - you can analyze processes/situations/problems in a structured way and propose solutions, focusing on the business goals of your activities.
