YOUR ROLE
You will join Capgemini's Financial Services team and contribute to one of the largest data transformation programs in the Nordic banking sector. As an ETL Tester, you will help ensure the quality, accuracy, integrity, and completeness of data across complex data warehouse and reporting solutions. In this role, you can expect real impact on critical banking processes, close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders, and growth in modern data quality engineering practices.
YOUR PROJECT
You will work in an agile environment supporting complex ETL, data warehouse, reporting, and data migration initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large datasets, source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, and end-to-end data flows supporting banking and regulatory requirements.
YOUR CLIENT
You will collaborate with product, business, data, and engineering stakeholders in the financial services domain. Your work will support quality decisions related to data correctness, migration readiness, regulatory reporting, and reliable delivery of banking solutions.
YOUR TASKS

Collaborating with business, data, engineering, and product stakeholders to understand requirements, ETL processes, mappings, and transformation rules.

Planning, designing, executing, and maintaining tests for ETL, data warehouse, reporting, and data migration areas.

Performing functional, system, integration, regression, user acceptance, and end-to-end data validation testing.

Using SQL to verify data quality, completeness, consistency, accuracy, and reconciliation between source, staging, and target systems.
- Identifying, documenting, tracking, and analyzing defects, data anomalies, and root causes.

Preparing test reports and communicating progress, risks, and quality insights to stakeholders.
- Supporting test data preparation, data masking, data validation, and continuous improvement of testing practices.
YOUR PROFILE
- 6+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 3 years in ETL, data warehouse, or data migration testing.

Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals and the testing lifecycle.

Hands-on experience with ETL testing, data quality validation, data reconciliation, data migration testing, data profiling, and data analysis.

Good knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cross-system integrations.

Strong SQL skills, including DDL, DML, DQL, joins, aggregations, and subqueries.

Experience validating large datasets and complex data transformations.

Ability to independently analyze requirements and define testing approaches.

Experience with defect management and test documentation.

Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working in Agile environments.
