Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate product development projects or subsystems from concept to series production
  • Manage time, technology, and cost for specific tasks or components
  • Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure project deliverables meet set requirements and deadlines
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and collaborate with other R&D departments
  • Oversee technical documentation and verify requirement fulfillment
  • Guide and build efficient teams, prioritizing tasks and fostering collaboration
  • Stay updated on automotive industry trends and drive innovation

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive product development, preferably in areas such as exterior plastics, interior trims, or body structures and components
  • Experience with the entire product development process, from concept to production, is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of CAD systems (e.g., CATIA V5 and/or Creo) and PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter and/or PDMlink) is meritorious, but not an absolute requirement
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Fluent in English; Swedish is meritorious
  • Knowledge of automotive-specific standards and processes
  • Experience in project management and team leadership
