DevOps engineer

Right now, Gothenburg is looking for a DevOps engineer to join our team cloud and custom application (C&CA).
YOUR ROLE:
As a DevOps engineer, you will be involved in client projects together with your team. You will support our clients with designing and implementing DevOps solutions, making sure software delivery is efficient, secure and reliable. You will also act as an advisor, making sure best practice is used regarding DevOps principles and cloud infrastructure.
YOUR PROFILE:
You are comfortable working with Cloud Infrastructure. You have experience automating deployment of software and infrastructure, as well as setting up and working with monitoring. You feel comfortable deploying Kubernetes clusters and automating deployment of software in Kubernetes. Some clients are asking for wider profiles, and to be successful as a DevOps consultant we also see that it is beneficial if you are comfortable working as a software engineer to be able to contribute wider in your team at the client site or being able to take on other assignments as a developer.
Below we list technical skills divided into categories. These are tools and technologies that you may come across in your assignment. We do not expect you to have experience or be familiar with all of them, but at least a one or two within each category.
- Cloud: Azure. Familiarity with AWS and/or GCP is a plus.
- Software Development: Comfortable working with one of the major development languages such as Java or C#
- Infrastructure as code (IaC): Terraform, ARM, Bicep, CloudFormation, Pulumi, AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
- CI/CD, Automation & Pipelines: GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Puppet, ArgoCD, Flux.
- Observability & Monitoring: ELK, Splunk, DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, Application Insights.
- Workload/deployment: Kubernetes, with GitOps e.g. ArgoCD or Flux.
- Scripting: Python, PowerShell.
- Tools: SonarQube, Artifactory
- Security: Security: Experience in encryption, firewalls and working with intrusion detection systems e.g. Black Duck.
Your background:
- At least six years of previous working experience that is relevant for the role as a DevOps engineer. For example as a DevOps Engineer or Software Engineer with DevOps tasks.
- You tackle problems with a proactive mindset and consistently take the initiative, showcasing excellent self-leadership. Additionally, you have the ability to coach and guide others to adopt the same proactive approach.
- Relevant educational background within software engineering or similar.
- Full proficiency in English, speech and writing, Swedish is meritorious.
