Senior Emulation Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Emulation Engineer to lead our emulation efforts across complex SoC and chiplet-based designs. You will be responsible for building scalable emulation infrastructure, driving methodology, and supporting cross-functional validation teams. This is a leadership role with high technical visibility and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver emulation and prototyping models from RTL using industry-standard platforms (Siemens Veloce, Cadence Palladium)
- Develop emulation testbenches in SystemVerilog and/or C/C++
- Build emulation test plans, and execute, to ensure model accuracy and readiness for pre-silicon validation
- Drive emulation methodologies for hardware verification and software development
- Develop tools, workflows, and infrastructure for enhanced debug, runtime efficiency, and data analysis from emulation runs
- Bring up and debug key interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, and generic SoC buses
- Create emulation validation components to support automation and regression efficiency
- Collaborate closely with RTL, DV, validation, and SW teams to streamline debug and execution
- Partner with vendors to resolve issues and evaluate new capabilities in emulation technology
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in emulation environments using Veloce, Palladium, or similar tools
- Strong experience with SystemVerilog, C++, and scripting (Python, Tcl)
- Proven knowledge of emulation technologies including simulation acceleration, in-circuit emulation, and hybrid models
- Solid understanding of SoC design flow and build/compilation pipelines
- Familiarity with transactor development and modeling of interfaces
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in SoC programs where emulation played a key validation role
- Experience architecting scalable emulation systems for IP, SoC, or chiplet-level validation
- Experience reproducing post-silicon issues on emulators
- Exposure to multi-die (chiplet) integration and validation strategies
- Ability to work across design releases and debug issues with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Protium, Zebu, or similar platforms is a plus
Why Join Us
- Take a leadership role in shaping our emulation strategy
- Work with advanced SoC and chiplet technologies
- Enjoy autonomy, ownership, and room to innovate
- Be part of a growing, technically strong team
- Competitive salary and flexible working model
