Support Engineer

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a Support Engineer to work fully on site in a fast paced regulated environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, collaborating cross functionally, and ensuring high performing applications that support critical business operations. The role is based in Limerick, 5 days onsite. 

 

Key responsabilities of the role:

  • Support services and implement software upgrades
  • Write and run SQL queries and manage BI dashboards
  • Monitor application health, resolve production issues, and meet SLAs
  • Contribute to coding standards, documentation, and knowledge sharing
  • Implement secure logging, audit trails, and role‑based access
  • Write unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests; support CSV activities. 

YOUR PROFILE

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of application services, software upgrade processes, SQL, and BI reporting.
  • Experience working in regulated industries (biopharma, healthcare, medical‑device, etc.)
  • Knowledge of validation frameworks and documentation (URS, FS/DS, test plans, traceability).
  • Experience implementing secure system controls (logging, RBAC, audit trails).
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work cross‑functionally.
  • Ownership mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities in regulated operational contexts.
